Leisure World

I discovered Leisure World when the Husband and I took a wrong exit on the Freeway. My first question was, is the gate there to keep people in or keep people out?
Secondly, I wouldn't mind moving there. Do you think they'll provide housekeeping and grocery shopping services? What about Teething Baby care? Leisure implies they'll aid me in my knitting avocation. If so, sign me up!
Obviously my Child is oblivious to the hurt teething causes her parents. No teeth have broken the surface yet, but they're getting close on the top. I discovered what I thought was an eye tooth is actually a Bohn's Nodule (and not a artifact of the Husband's weird-o teeth genes. He'll counter with a comment about my Monkey toes. We're a mutant family.).
Maya has discovered the joys of her Exersaucer. She'll tolerate it for a few minutes on the hour but prefers to be held by FickleMommy or Daddy, especially when she's screaming her fool head off over the teething pain.
I'm screaming my fool head off over the lack of sleep, personally. I'll be overjoyed when she sleeps like she used to. Until then, I'll be here, drooling in the corner, dreaming of my own Leisure World.

teething is no fun at all!! It will get better though…Thankfully Kahlan hasn’t started teething yet… hoping it won’t be for a while longer :)

If the teething tablets aren’t working for you, then I have two wordsfor you: infant advil.
check with pediatrician re: dosage. Tylenol works, too, bu advil will help with inflammation. There’s no reason for any of you to suffer.

My goodness, but isn’t little Miss Maya looking just adorable?! She looks like such a sweet baby.

She’s so cute! I see she knows it too.
Sleep? You think you’re going to sleep in the next couple of decades? hahahahhahahaha.

Aw, those painful rites of passage. Teething is a way cuter and shorter stage than pimply adolescent (I’ll bet it doesn’t feel shorter).

My grandpa lives in leisure world in Long Beach or thereabouts… although right now he’s in the hospital and not in leisure world.
