In the Jaws of Paradise

We had a fantastic flight and for the third time out of three airplane rides our seatmate asked to move to a new row when he spied our spry kid.
On to the meat.
Our first meal off of the plane was delicious cold ramen noodles. The bowl had ramen (of course) tomato, cucumber, ham, seaweed, and crab meat. I am infatuated with all the local Japanese restaurants, just like I was on our Honeymoon on the Big Island.

Next up is the view from our hotel room.

Which was especially welcoming since according to CNN my state is currently ablaze.
In betwixt all the ramen and fire there has been vacation knitting.

And some relaxing.

Some cloud gazing.

And a brief visit to the water, which was in retrospect short and sweet.

Because this afternoon the shark came out to play. At first I assumed it was some frat boy just having a laugh but when the shouts kept coming we had to have a look.

For the record I'm fairly certain white speedo man has never seen Jaws.

Personally I think he just wanted a mojito.

We should have a knit-get-together soon. I haven’t seen Ms. Maya in a long time!

Jealous!! I am jealous!!! That’s all I have to say about that.
I’ll take shark in water so clear you can see it from your hotel room over white snow covered cars (and by snow I mean ash)
    Enjoy paradise.

My ramen is better than your ramen…but the weather sure looks nicer there.

I’m so jealous! Stay safe and hurry home. We miss you.

Those pictures don’t make it look like paradise AT ALL.

No way! I wanna come. Turtle sharks dont scare me. I would just stay on the beach because that is where I prefer to be, not because I am scared of the sharks.
Now go eat more food! It looks so yummy!
Kisses to the toddler with the power to empty plane seats from her sweetness.

Oh man. I’m trying to be happy for your fabulous vacation instead of an envious mess. Gorgeous!
