Fickleknitter--Now with 50% MORE Cowbell

I've been knitting through the summer heat. But you can't see it. It's secret knitting for publication submission. Enter cowbell. Since I can't show you knitting, random photography it is. And secretly between you and me the heat has gone to my head. I have the vapors. Or some other random hysteria. Clearly that's responsible for the sewing jag. And the photography jag. And likely the coffee bender.
I've decided to participate in the 365 Project. You take one self portrait daily for a year. It's more difficult than it sounds, believe me. Here's day 2 (before Project ennui took hold).

Here is today's shot and a new New Look 6494 skirt to boot. It was hot and there was a coffee shortage.

This here is a Roman Apple. Never heard of it? Well it's a regular apple, photographed at a Roman Reenactment.

This is a non Roman cannon. Also part of the Reenactment at Fort Mac. You can't see it but there's a gorgeous hand pieced quilt in the tent on the right. There were also some Renaissance Spinners but those broads put me to shame.

Me? I only wish this were a self portrait, you can thank Andrian for capturing my smart mouth in action.

That's all much more interesting than these bags of secret knitting, right? *Cue Cowbell*

That is a beautiful skirt! I cannot wait to see your secret project, and best of luck with the 365 project :)

Awesome skirt! I need to learn how to sew so I can be all cool too.
Also, kudos on the 365 project. It would take me about 3 days tops before I lost interest and/or forgot about it completely. So…keep it up!

Holz and Steins? Do I see Holz and Stein needles in there?!

    It needs more cowbell!
Love the skirt. That fabric you got compliments perfectly. I think I’m ready for a new obsession :)

Actually, less Cowbell and more Seekrit Project. Wanna know!!
The skirt looks great! Looks like that sewing learning curve is over.

When I form my BOC revival band next year, I plan to have Maya on center stage for DFTR. Cuz when she’s done banging away people will finally agree, “Whoa, that definitely is enough cowbell!”
