The Fabulousness of Fabulous Yarn

I am so excited to be working with Judy of I met Judy on the show floor at TNNA. She likes iPads, indie artists, beautiful yarn, and good knitting. I became her number one fangirl when she told me she worked in San Fransisco during the early punk years. I saw the Ramones perform in '96 in my heady youth and I love the music and what the movement is about.

In between moshing around my living room and jam sessions with Maya I'll be working up patterns in Fabulous yarn. It'll be a nice distraction from my secret magazine projects.

In fact I'm so excited about all the yarn Judy sent I've already started the first pattern, Chevron Arrow (V1).

Did I say secret magazine project? I can't tell you what I'm doing but I can show you the yarn, Sweet Georgia Merino Silk Laceweight in Pomegranate.

I have been able to dye plenty of fiber In between all that lusty yarn squeezing and living room moshing.
Now if you'll excuse me I'm off to knit while listening to my favorite punk album.

Hey, the shop looks great – all that lovely yarn!
It has been a little while since I wandered the blogsphere so just read the post about your Masters getting signed by The Gov’nor!!! That is somehow extremely cool, (but not as cool as actually getting your Masters in the first place. And in physics!)
Looks like life is going good for you at the moment…

Ohmygoodness, another Malabrigo supplier. More colorways. I’m in happy trouble now.

y’know, I sometimes forget about that delicious riot of overwhleming colour that is in a pile of yarn. Good for the eyes. Thanks for the pics.
