Crap! Only twenty-two Days til Christmas.

And the last two weeks have been a blur of wheezy, coughy, whingy lung ick. I'm not sure how I ended up sick this close to Christmas. But here we are. After two rounds of Prednisone, one shot of Decadron, and a z pack I finally feel halfway human again. I haven't wheezed (much) all day for the first time since 11-17 and I'm feeling grand.

After a Chocolate Chip Cookie, a medicinal dose of Mike n Ikes, and some iced tea aplenty I felt punchy enough to try to snap some photos of the Gauntlets I just finished. These are knit up in Teresa Ruch's Merino Silk blend. The silk/merino feels bouncy and light. The silk content makes the yarn airy and the yarn is a beautiful, luminous single. I'm knitting up a matching scarf. This yarn is a delight to work with.

I also finished up my first pattern in artyarns Silk Rhapsody Glitter. It's a spicy little lace scarf with knit and purl stitches worked through the back loop every row, purl and knit side yarn overs every row, and p2togs through the back loop every other row. It's just come back from Tech Editing and will be for sale after my Test knitters give their stamp of approval.

Same story on the Bird of Juno Scarf/Wrap. It's written in a scarf and wrap size and it'll be ready for release after my Testers give the okay.

This is Happy Hands Bounty Peruvian Wool. I'm crushing madly on it and I'll be working up something special (but secret) with it as soon as I exercise my online Christmas shopping fingers.

Everything is beautiful, as always. I love the pic of you holding the Bird of Juno Scarf with it blowing in the wind. Makes me long to be in Cali instead of cold Missouri.

I’m loving that lace scarf in the artyarn, can’t wait for the pattern. I saw that the other day and looked all over your site for it. I will wait patiently for your beautiful new patterns.
