TNNA Weekend!

Posted on Jan 07, 2011. 4 comments

I'm headed out this morning to set up my booth (#1555) at the Long Beach Convention Center for TNNA. I'll be back online early next week assuming I'm not face down in my dinner plate, sound asleep. Until then if you have any pattern questions please visit my ravelry group where a wonderful bunch of knitters hang out.

When I get back I'll recap how I met Shannon Okey, Ysolda, and the Ravelry crew while I was a guest artist at the Unwind Ravelry Party. I met lots of incredible knitters, sold a whack of patterns, and talked myself hoarse. It was a great opening to TNNA Weekend.

See you soon!

It was great meeting you, Michelle and talking with you about your designs. I am the one that knit the Simple Triangle Shawl for the Classic Elite display. I really had fun knitting it. Hope to talk to you again soon! Have a great TNNA. Hope you sell lots more patterns!

[…] Michelle Miller from Fickle Knitter was there displaying her designs and patterns. I talked to her for quite a while about design and publishing patterns. She was very open and willing to give advice too. She designed the shawl I just completed as a display piece for the party and to show off the Silky Alpaca Lace from Classic Elite. Here’s a link to her blog post on the party. […]

It was truly a pleasure to meet you! I was there with my daughter Hannah who was unfortunately not feeling well. I was bummed that I couldn’t spend more time looking at your patterns, but I think I own most of them anyway:). I am now free of Xmas knitting so am ready to cast on the Tree and Arbor wrap this weekend! Maybe by the time I complete it, someone will be off the boob;).
I am so glad you had a good time and made some $$. With that drive, it is always nice to have something to show for it at the end of the day!
Have a blast at TNNA – can’t wait to hear about it!
    Blessings,
    Lisa and Hannah
