The Ravelry Party at Unwind was a whirlwind of pattern sales, Porto's pastries, and great company. I was really thankful to be asked by Stephanie to be a part of the night as a guest artist. I met so many fabulous knitters and designers that I talked myself completely hoarse by the close of doors. What I love most about Unwind is that the shop embodies the knitting community. It's basically a support system for knitters, yarn hoarders, admirers and collectors alike. I also discovered Bar Maids for the first time and I'm happy to report that I'm properly moisturized.

The only thing I didn't do is take photos (see above re: talking, hoarse). But luckily some other savvy knitters took photos and wrote up their own recaps of the night which you can read here, and here (Scroll down to the third photo). Also check the comments in the Ravelry blog here.

I'd like to thank Stephanie of Unwind, all the knitters who bought my patterns that night, and everyone who stopped by to say hi. Thanks for making the party such a great night and I hope to see you all again soon!
