A little pretty to brighten your day.
ilina's flyleaf 2
Ilina on ravelry knit the Flyleaf Shawl using two shades of lavender. I have to say this version is one of my favorites. Thanks Ilina!

If you missed me at Maryland Sheep & Wool take note, I am vending at quite a few more shows this year. Please stop by and say hi if you're in the neighborhood.

Knitcircus Giveaways
Today is the last day to enter two different Knitcircus giveaways. The first is in my ravelry group, leave a comment here and I'll be picking three winners from the comments. Jaala over at the official knitcircus blog is giving away a kit with everything you need to make a Saffron Baby Hat. The is started flat and uses the Fibonacci sequence to create enough stitches to join in the round later. I invented the technique because I find small diameter knitting to be so fiddly. Click on over to enter.

Look for a recap coming soon! I'm pretty much wiped out from all the tequila working and sheep but I'll put a little something together over the next few days, just as soon as I return to living in my time zone.

[…] even cooler than amethyst digging happened this week though: Michelle (Fickle Knitter, she who knits tin hats) liked my shawl so much she posted a picture of it on her blog. It’s a real honour for me […]

Glad you had a great time! Hope you didn’t have too much tequila… sheep fumes. =)
